Resurrection Power | The Church as the Living Body of Christ

May 24, 2025

Scripture Reading: Ephesians 5:25-27

"Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish."

Reflection:

The Church is described as the bride of Christ, a living organism that is deeply connected to Him. This relationship is intimate and profound, highlighting the importance of the Church in God's plan for salvation and restoration. As members of the Church, we are called to live in unity and holiness, reflecting the love and sacrifice of Christ.

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, thank You for loving the Church and giving Yourself for her. Help me to see the Church as You do, as Your beloved bride. May I contribute to the unity and holiness of the Church, living in a way that reflects Your love and grace. Amen.

Action Step:

Consider how you can actively participate in the life of Saving Grace. Whether through service, prayer, or fellowship, find a way to contribute to the health and unity of the body of Christ.
