Word and Water

This week in worship, we hear how God used the floodwaters both to judge sin and to preserve His promise through Noah and his family. In Baptism, those same themes meet again as God drowns the old sinful self and raises us into new creation through Christ. Through water and the Word, God brings rescue, renewal, and life.
