FREE EMERGENCY FOOD BOX

 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month from 1:30PM-3:30PM

 

Food boxes including fresh produce will be available starting April 5, 2007

 

Please bring a photo ID and proof of residency (like a utility bill) postmarked in the last 30 days.

 Cash and Carry

Cash and Carry, one of the Food Value programs, operates every Friday from 7:30a.m. to 2:00pm. and Saturdays from 7:30a.m. to 2:00p.m. at the Food Bank, 2831 N. 31st Avenue, in Phoenix. Participants can pay with cash or Quest food stamps only and
no pre-qualification is necessary.

Recipients can purchase a food box for $15 and a meat box for $10. The items in the food box are purchased and generally consist of frozen meat, canned fruits, vegetables and other staples such as rice, pasta or cereal.

Queen Creek Senior Citizen’s Program in Need of Supplies

Arts and crafts supplies; paints, beads, flowers, craft books, etc. are needed. These items will be used by the Senior Citizen’s Compañeros/Companions program. Donations may be dropped off on Thursday mornings at the Queen Creek Community Center, or you may call  Mary Gloria @ 987-0819 to donate, or for pick up. Pan de Vida Foundation is a local non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization and donations are tax deductible.  For information on the Senior Citizen’s Compañeros/Companions program, or to join our volunteer program, please call Mary Gloria @ 987-0819.
