How's the theme song from the old television
series Cheers go? "Sometimes you want to go where
everybody knows your name ..." At Saving Grace we really do want
to know your name. And more than that, we want to get to know
YOU! So we do a variety of things to help us get the chance to do
more than just pass like "ships in the night" (another song come
to mind?) Here are some of them:
Sunday Morning Refreshments
On Sundays you can stop for coffee and snacks before or after
worship and even during Bible Study! Refreshments are provided
free of charge, though a freewill offering is taken - or better
yet, sign up to bring in snacks someday - then we get to try YOUR
favorite goodies!
Life Circles
Life Circles are
small groups of 4-12 people whose purpose is to help you meet and
experience God, grow in your faith through being part of a genuine
Christian community and be empowered to carry God's love into the
world by using your abilities, skills and spiritual gifts.
Life Circles are open
to everyone in the community. We have life circles for Ladies,
Men, Families with Children, and more! You can learn more and
find a group that's right for you by viewing the

our website.
WInGS (Women In God's Service)
Our Ladies meet every month at the Trilogy Clubhouse (open to the
public) for planning and fellowship with light refreshments
served. Special guests are often featured to enrich the lives of
the ladies and their service to the Lord. All women of Saving
Grace and their friends are welcome to join! No pre-registration
required. For more information, call the church office or write
women@savinggracelc.org.
Softball
Saving Grace has two teams into the
church league: (1) Men’s Team which meets Sunday
nights, 8 & 9pm and (2) Co-Ed Team which meets Sunday
nights, 6 & 7pm. The cost is $25 a person to join

Marriage Encounter
Worldwide
Marriage Encounter is an ecumenical ministry that
provides married couples the tools to realize greater
levels of communication and spiritual intimacy within
their marriage. With the external pressures and demands
that face couples today, never has there been a greater
need for a ministry like Marriage Encounter.
Within the Phoenix metropolitan area, Lutheran Marriage
Encounter has been active in organizing Marriage
Encounter Weekends – “mini-retreats” that are
distraction free environments for couples to
“rediscover” their relationship with each other and with
Christ.
