The Lord Has Done Great Things For Us 

“Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, "The LORD has done great things for them." The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. (Psalm 126:2-3)

With 2006 behind us and 2007 before us I'd like to share a few highlights from last year and outline our vision for this coming year.

In 2006 God allowed the Ministry of Saving Grace to:

• Increase our worship attendance by about 20%

• Baptize 25 children and adults!

• Nearly double the number of small groups meeting

• Expand the number of Sunday School classes offered for children

• Complete the Strategic Ministry & Strategic Facilities planning processes

• Add the Director of Youth Ministries staff position (Elliot Munro)

• Identify and enter contract on 12 acres of land for ministry on Ellsworth Rd.

By God’s grace in 2007 we look forward to:

• More growth and more baptisms as we “Bring Christ To Our Neighbors”

• Focusing our efforts on PRAYER and BUILDING RELATIONSHIP

• Increasing participation in Life Circles

• Helping our members and attenders identify and use their gifts in ministry

• Offering more children, youth and family ministry opportunities

• Offering more discipleship learning, prayer and retreat opportunities

• Acquiring the land on Ellsworth Rd. and moving our offices to that location

• Allowing more folks to join us in our vision of creating a place where genuine community is experienced and Christ is glorified!
