“What’s “IT” All About?”

Perhaps you’ve noticed the recent changes to the newsletter format? The title is now “LiveIT @Saving Grace” and there is a section entitled “GiveIT @Saving Grace.” And you may be wondering, “What’s with all the IT’s?” and, “What is ‘IT’ anyway?” Well, let me explain IT to you this way …

In John 20:31, the Apostle writes, “But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name!” That verse is a clear summary of the Gospel message of Salvation by Grace Alone through Faith Alone in Christ Alone. This is the Good News that we, the Christian Church, bear to all the world. It is our mission at Saving Grace to BRING THAT MESSAGE OF SALVATION TO OUR NEIGHBORS.

And where that message of Salvation is concerned, we’ve structured our ministry around a plan to help folks: 1.) “GetIT” into their head and into their hearts, and connect with God through regular worship. 2.) “LiveIT” out in their lives as fully devoted followers of Christ and 3.) “GiveIT” to others by sharing what God has done for them and what He has blessed them with. For us, that’s what “IT’s” all about!
