Why?

I saw the movie, The Passion of the Christ.  Did you?  All throughout that movie, I was wondering, “Why?” “Why did He have to die?” “Why were the people so cruel?” “Why were they so blind to the purity and the Truth of His message?” “Why did He allow this all to happen when He could have stopped it in an instant?” …a lot of questions … This month, the pastor truly is pondering!

Whether you know Jesus’ “story” well, or are just learning, there is one thing that is clear – these questions require answers.  What’s more, these questions have answers.  The whys and the wherefores of the passion of Jesus Christ, what came before the crucifixion and what comes after, are found in the book upon which the movie was based – the Bible.  It’s on the bestseller list; you can pick it up at any bookstore – and you can study it with others asking the same questions!  I encourage you to do so … you need your questions answered.  And besides, we all know that the BOOK is better than the MOVIE!
