Welcome to Saving Grace Lutheran Church’s Children Ministry!

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for
the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”

At Saving Grace Lutheran Church we strive to provide a Sunday School program for our students that equips them to be Christian leaders and teaches them to depict the love of Christ in all aspects of their life. We provide a nurturing enviornment that reaches the needs of all of the families at Saving Grace. We offer two Sunday School programs; a traditional Sunday School setting that meets after our 8:00am services and a contemporary Sunday School setting that meets during the 10:30am contemporary service. In the 10:30am setting, children will begin worship with their parents and be dismissed after a children’s message from Pastor Tim. Children will return to church to commune with their family and close with worship.

We are excited to work with our families and share in the ministry of teaching the word of God
to our students and we hope that you can join us Sunday.

For more information about our program to to volunteer to help with the program, please contact Laura Barnes.

10:30am Sunday School

These next four weeks (4/23-5/14) we will be learning about Noah’s Ark during our 10:30 am Sunday School.

The Noah’s Ark story is a classic one.  Almost every child knows about Noah’s floating zoo.  It is such a popular story with young children, it easily entertains and teaches the children for two weeks (or more)!  I’ve said this before, but it’s worth mentioning again.  When instructing young children, repetition is a positive thing.  Everything is so new at this age that it is helpful to repeat important messages multiple times.  This first lesson focuses on Noah as an obedient, good man. The message of God as our loving Creator is reinforced in the Noah story.  The people before the flood disobeyed God time and time again.  Noah was obedient — he did as God asked.  God saved Noah and the animals.

Join us every Sunday at 10:30am as we guide our children through lessons from the Bible.

Little Blessings

We were very blessed to have all the children involved in the Christmas program this year. Thank you to all who participated!!
